I'm looking to rent a cottage for 3 to 4 weeks between the window of July  20 and august 20. I have been renting the same cottage for past 4 years but looking for a change. I have a small non shedding adorable dog and am very quiet and will treat any place like my own home. I am an avid cyclist, great cook, certified yoga teacher if you'd like me to lead a practice on the dock at sun set, friendly and clean person so your home will be safe under my care. I'm flexible. I also have a beautiful loft in midtown Toronto if you wanted to do a house swap as well. Please contact me at 4167123170 or hiddengem54@gmail.com

Arthur Walker-Jones, a north lake cottager and a professor of theology at the University of Winnipeg will be leading the service on Sunday July 30th. David McKane had originally been scheduled to do the service but found it necessary to switch and Rick Wilmsen agreed to the switch but has now found that he is unable to do it.

We encourage anyone, members or not, to attend.

I would like to publically acknowledge the pontoon boat driver who rescued the stranded canoeists on  Middle Muldrew Lake on Sunday July 16th during the early evening severe wind and rain storm. His actions certainly demonstrate the type of community spirit we value  on our lake. As the storm intensified, I realized how tragic this situation could have been had he not been driving by and  immediately stopped to rescue them.

Beau Desvreau was found guilty in court today July 05, 2017 of all charges ( two counts of theft over $5,000 and one count of theft under $5,000 ) along with other charges relating to other incidents.  For our theft, he was sentenced to 9 months in jail, 12 months probation and restitution (for the difference in the value of what was stolen and the amounts received from insurance).  This would not have been possible without the security cameras that were installed on our property (which we did because of two previous thefts probably from the same people). Locked gates, locked snowmobile trailer, signs saying that we had a security system did not deter these people.  Let's make our lake safe from thefts and look out for one another's home away from home.
